I've seen "One the one hand...on the other hand...on the gripping hand" used several times now. (It's from Larry Niven's The Gripping Hand, a sequel to The Mote in God's Eye.)

The Mote in God's Eye was excellent. I haven't read The Gripping Hand yet. It's in my huge stack of important ones to read next.

"Phlebotinum" (AFAICT David Greenwalt Buffy the Vampire Slayer, popularised by www.tvtropes.org ) "Fictional substance which explains how something unscientific works"

Interesting, in my campaign I used Rare's Compoundium taken from the Hero system rare compound to be affected by. :) I had a PC in one supers campaign I ran who had the power to make any technology work so long as it was based on spurious science.

Please no Clockwork Orange. That's just mispronounced Russian. Original or reappropriated words only.

Forever Knight was great for it's blend of Cockney and Nadsat. Droog is one of the best words from that.

Quaff: It's like drinking, only you spill more on yourself.

Quaffing ale and mead is a great thing!

When playing clerics I like to "Avaunt thee to Hell and Perdition!' when turning undead. Just seems to work better that way.
