Hey all,
My company the Farsight Design Workshop is running a series of articles on Steam Powered Robots; specifically the Iron Kingdoms Variety. I'm a mechanical engineer with varied experience in medical devices, satellite communications, and particle accelerators. I love science and engineering. I love gaming. My company and its blog combine those together.
I need your help.
What topics would be really cool to take a deeper look into? On the mundane side of things, I was thinking of articles on what makes a rope strong or how a lens was made pre-industrial revolution. On the fantasy side of things, I was looking at the pyrology of fireballs and what's the hottest thing they could melt bounded by the laws of thermodynamics or how magic could best be used to augment lock design.
As always my goal is to present things in an easy to read and understand format. So what do you think, do you have any ideas?

Good Gaming!
