Fast Healing question

If I have a character with fast healing, and that same character has both real and subdual hit points of damage against him, how does the fast healing work?

Does it cure the real first...or the subdual first? Does it cure one of each (ala a cure spell) per point of fast healing?

Subdual is cured first, then real (check the DMG entery on fast healing).
