Fast Movement Question

If I have a multiclassed barbarian scout (human) who has Fast Movement +10 from both classes, do these bonuses stack or not? Does this human have a speed of 50 or 40?

They're both enhancement bonuses to speed; hence they don't stack. Your speed is 40 feet. Also note that the haste spell is also an enhancement bonus and also doesn't stack: your hasted speed is 60 feet.

I disagree. From the SRD for Barbarian "A barbarian’s land speed is faster than the norm for his race by +10 feet. This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn."

It's an un-named bonus, and therefore stacks.

Mistwell is correct. The barbarian's fast movement is an unnamed bonus. I'm not sure if that's an error, since it's the only version of the fast movement ability from any of the WotC PCs or PrCs I can think of which isn't an enhancement bonus. Anyhow, by the RAW, they stack.

Oops, I must have been thinking of monk, not barbarian In that case, as the other posters said, they stack. That makes his hasted speed 70 feet, then.
