Especially when the game's most powerful damage spell (magic missile) has a +0 modifier and is a standard action (total delay, 2 segments).</p><p></p><p>I would recommend trimming the weapon modifiers by 1 (to a minimum of 0); you could trim them all by 1, keeping daggers and unarmed weapons faster than small weapons, but that would allow a monk or dagger-rogue to attack every segment as a standard action (which may or may not be desirable).</p><p></p><p>I would also advise capping the aim bonus; +3 to +5 seems a good point. Otherwise you'll have characters aiming for minutes from ambush, effectively "true-striking" on the surprise round. With a cap, they'll aim for no more than a round before firing.</p><p></p><p>You should also include a note that the segment determinations are inclusive.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Again, I realize that this is very late, but I hope it helps.</p></blockquote><p></p>
