Father and the Big Drive

My Dad is into old time radio and he's gotten into computers as a way to find those old programs that haven't been aired in 50 year or more. He's been on my older computer system with a 10 mb drive clunking around. The CD-R drive went out today and I dediced to give him his birthday present a day early - a 160 mb Maxtor drive and a new CD-RW drive.

I haven't seen the old man this happy in quite awhile.

Oh well, figured I'd share.

I've always tried to give gifts with no selfish intentions but rather because I love or respect, or both, that person.

But when you get a person a gift and it's the perfect gift, it's hard to not to feel warm all over. Just call me selfish...
