The Empire Strikes Back- From the opening of Luke getting bushwacked by the Wampa and the AT-AT battle to the final duel in the carbon freezing chambers of Cloud City this is by far my favorite.2. Return of the Jedi- Say what you will about the Ewoks, I don't let them take away from the great skiff battle (poor Boba Fett so cool yet such a lame death) and the amazing space battle/lightsaber duel all good stuff.3. A New Hope- Great introduction to the universe.  Much better starting point than The Phantom Menace.  Lucas says he wants future generations to watch the series in order 1-6, but I think they will be confused as hell with TPM as their first Star Wars experience.4. Attack of the Clones- Actually a great movie if you skip all the Anakin+Padme stuff on Naboo.  I love the end arena fight into the droid vs clone war and the final Jedi duel.5. The Phantom Menace- Really quite slow compared to the other movies.  As others have stated the Darth Maul scenes are cool but are too far between to save the movie.</blockquote>
