(Note: it was never discussed if Maxim DID have a vision of Moradin or was merely suffering blunt skull trauma)Maxim had a simplistic worldview: Moradin good, orcs bad, everything else fell somewhere in between. Despite his good wisdom, he was oblivious. He often asked anyone (dwarf or not) if "they'd considered a close, personal commitment to Moradin?" (complete with tracts!) He learned elven from three different sources (a half-elf, a gray-elf liar, and a human who spoken elven) so he never did learn in properly; leading to all manners of fun mistranslations. Maxim though, was known for some of his quotations..."Worship Moradin!" (battle cry)"Ye though I walk through the shadow of the valley of the dead, I will fear no evil cuz I have the biggest dang hammer in the whole dang valley.""Only Moradin can judge me now!!!"Maxim: "What would Moradin do" Other team members: "Hit stuff." Maxim: "Damn Right!""If dragons are bad, and liches are worse, that makes dracoliches pretty dang awful" Maxim took on such a life of his own, others could role-play him with amazing accuracy during games I had to miss. He was an amazing character and perhaps the best dwarf I'd ever played.</blockquote>
