Message: <blockquote data-quote="Gorg" data-source="post: 9791623" data-attributes="member: 7029501">The 3E campaign setting.Silver MarchesMagic of Faerun  Likely others, I have an extensive collection, some of which is still in the yet-to-read pile,  others haven't been cracked open in forever... lol.  Yeah- I have a "problem" with Ebay...  Having stuff dating back to 1e, I have an extensive collection of maps, too- inc the 4 poster sized ones Dragon Mag gave away years ago.  My upcoming FR campaign  (2014 5E rules)  will be set in the 3E period or even earlier.   NOT a fan of the needless world shaking chaos that comes with every new edition...   I (relatively recently) got Unapproachable East, and am strongly considering basing the campaign in Algarond, Rashemen, etc.   Might be amusing to introduce the party to a rather annoyed Simbul, if they get too rambunctious, lol. Faiths and Pantheons is good, too.  I love how detailed the gods and religeons are!  Some of my personal favorites are:  Lurue, Ilmater, Torm, and of course Mystra.  There's a wild published adventure I REALLY want to run- I forget the name tho...  The Twilight something or other, perhaps? Centered around a demi plane created by a long gone race of elves to contain/punish an evil elf.  PC's are investigating a series of disappearances, when they stumble upon a circle of standing stones- that transports them there.</blockquote>
