[QUOTE="Tonguez, post: 598439, member: 1125"] Orbril the Gnome, Master of the Grand Circus Maximus and Founder of the Royal College of Troubadors. He started of as an Alchemist (Scorcerer) with a love of fireworks and his very first act as a young and naive gnome with a wunderlust was to hide amongst the luggage of a Noble woman who was going to be teleported to her new role as Lady Governor in her country (which was part of a larger empire). He was caught and almost killed except that the Lady took pity on him and gave him a job as Palace Jester instead. Here he was able to engage in a variety of adventures - including one were I got a Magic singing rock named Hortence (it was a rock - it sang) and also took some levels in Bard and Druid. During one adventure in which the party was suppose to catch a griffon Orbril made a comment about Giant Carnivorous Hamsters which the DM took up and within a few nights we were attacked by Giant Carnivorous Hamsters. Anyway at this point I hit upon the idea of starting his own circus so instead of killing the Hamsters I used nets to catch them, hired a Ranger to train them and soon had a caravan pulled by four of these Hamsters. I went about hiring a few other performers and an accountant and the Grand Circus Maximus was born. Soon the Circus Maximus acquired a Training Ground (a large valley on the outskirts of the city) were I went about building a Circus training area which eventually expanded to become the Royal College of Troubadors Anyway Orbril pretty much makes an appearance in every campaign I run (even if only a bit character eg I might have the Circus Maximus caravan heading out of town for another tour drive past the PCs ...)
