Favorite Monster for Baleful Polymorph

I recall in our older (pre-3.5) campaign, the spellcaster always liked polymorphing enemies into a fish out of water. We had some "instant death" issues causing some problems from that.

Sheep, seal, warthog, chicken, and pig are old favorites for anyone who played Warcraft 2 (the first three), Heretic (the fourth), or Hexen (the fifth).

But I think my critter of choice would be the Penguin from Frostburn. A cute bird that can't fly and can't move fast.

Turtle, without a doubt.

You don't really want the BBEG running away while you're mopping up his minions, do you? :)

That's why I go with the snail. Turtles can bite, and it's really embarassing if the balefully polymorphed BBEG latches onto your big toe.

I've always wanted to try a Flumph, just for the sheer humiliation factor. But then it might get away, if it could get over the humiliation of having to fart to move...

My Wizard is the kind of guy to turn you into a toad or chicken. Even likes to try and Polymorph big tough things regardless of the Fort save. It is the embarassment factor.

Last time I played him he toaded a perfectly healthy Frost Giant at the beginning of a battle.
