For some reason I was wondering if anyone else has a favorite sig quote (other than their own, of course). For me it's this one:
"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, design a building, conn a ship, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve an equation, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." -- Robert Heinlein, from Prometheus Rising
...and of course I can't remember whose sig quote it actually is.
Hopefully they'll come forward.
Lately I've been trying to branch out and do new things -- as well as do old things differently -- and the last sentence of this quote always pops into my head. For the last few weeks, it has really resonated with me, and I thought that was neat.
