But I didn't enjoy any of their successors' treatments. Until now. I think Eccleston is simply the best yet. And I don't blame him for quitting the show already. I've seen him in a lot of stuff and he's a very, very good actor. Playing the Doctor for more than one season would have typecast him. The plus side is that the reason Eccleston wanted to play the Doctor in the first place was because Russell T Davies was writing the show and he's annoyingly talented. From what I hear, Davies will be working on the second season and the Beeb have a couple of interesting actors in their sights to replace Christopher Eccleston.</p></blockquote><p></p>
