[FDP] GenCon Releases!

Red Baron

First Post
Just wanted to let everyone know that good ol' Fiery Dragon Productions is not only still kickin', they're kickin' out a whole whack of new product for GenCon Indy.

The following products will see their release at GenCon:

Adventure Tiles: Dungeons: From the award-nominated cartographer Ed Bourelle (a.k.a. Skeleton Key Ed) comes this exciting new product. Assemble whatever dungeon you need with these beautifully crafted tiles. With no mess or delay, just slap the Dungeon Tiles on the table and start exploring the endless possibilities. This product comes in a durable tin box for easy transportation and storage.

Battle Box I: Add a new dimension and speed to your fantasy roleplaying game with this accessory designed for the demanding, discerning gamemaster. Spell area templates, spell effect counters, cinematic new rules like the Chase System and the Alert Factor, and a large battlemat — among other GM-friendly goods — all in a durable tin box.

CC Digital: Counter Collection Digital represents a new opportunity for fans of Fiery Dragon’s counter products. For the first time, every fantasy counter image created is collected in one place. Print out only the counters you need, in whatever quantity necessary, or use the images to create monster cards or group portraits. The possibilities are endless with this product, sold in a DVD-amaray case.

Counter Strike: Battle for China: The third product in our ongoing Counter Strike line of mini-games, BATTLE FOR CHINA is a boardgame of the "War of Resistance Against Japan" from the initial Japanese invasion in July, 1937, to the end of 1941. The game is designed for two players, one directing the military forces acting to defend China against the Japanese invader, and the other the forces of Imperial Japan. The game can also be played with a third player taking the Chinese Communist forces. This game is also packaged in the new FDP format, our catchy and durable tin boxes.

In addition to these new products, we'll also have copies (in limited quantities) of a number of our recent releases:

CC GOLD: Fiery Dragon Productions has been producing the bestselling, award-nominated Counter Packs and Counter Collections for over 3 years. Counter Collection GOLD (CC GOLD) represents our most prestigious collection yet, featuring 37 pages of counters — 31 of which are diecut for easy removal. The counter sheets are packaged in Fiery Dragon's distinctive new metal tins, allowing for easy, well-protected transportation of any gaming session's counters. As a bonus feature in CC GOLD, buyers will find 12 printed 5"x5" Adventure Tiles by award-winning cartographer Ed Bourelle. GMs can use these tiles to build a simple dungeon floorplan on-the-fly that features a 1" grid to assist in tabletop combat resolution. Coupled with Counter Collection 5: Summoned Creatures, this product features nearly every creature in the core SRD rules for use with the world's most popular roleplaying game.

And...

Counter Collection 5: Summoned Creatures: A product widely acclaimed by gamemasters and players is here for you at GenCon! For the first time ever, all creatures from the summon monster and summon nature’s ally lists are available in a single product and can be unleashed in your next fantasy game. Featuring v3.5-sized counters for nearly every nature’s ally or monster that can be called to the battlefield, this collection comes packaged in a protective tin case, perfect for storage and transportation.

All that, and we haven't even mentioned Counter Strike: Arriba Espana and Counter Strike: Autumn Mist yet! (Oops, we just did — we'll have copies of those, too!)

So be sure to look for FDP at booth 1815, and stop by to say "Hi"! (And maybe, if you're so inclined, buy some cool stuff!!)

We're on Fire!!

Cheers,
Scott

I just want to say that I bought Counter Collection Gold already and I love it. The art is great, the monsters are very useful, it has a huge variety of monsters, lots of monsters from the MM that they haven't produced minis for yet, and the dungeon tiles were an added treat that I also find extremely useful. Also the metal tin they come in is a very handy holder, very convenient storage for them.

Great going with the Counter Collection Gold guys! All in all a wonderful product!

Erk. Huh? What's that now? ;)

Last I heard, GoO is slated for a possible PDF release, but don't quote me on that. I do know that I have several mostly-complete files of monsters and NPCs for that adventure on my hard drive. Beyond that, she's all up in de air, eh.

Hey, you! Yeah, you!

Heh. C'mon, 250 views and nobody has any comments, questions, queries or otherwise? You know you wanna ask about something... or even just call me names! (On second thought, you'd better just email me to do that; Eric's grandma might be offended otherwise...)

;)

OK, I'll bite. :) Roughly how much stuff is in the Battle Box? I've been wanting some sexy spell area templates for awhile, so I'm curious if these'll fit the bill -- are they clear, for overlaying? Are they designed for grids (IE, circular effects represented with jagged edges), or no grids (circular = circular)?

Thanks in advance.
