I just got The Noble Wild, an updated-to-Pathfinder supplement for playing any of 65 intelligent animal species, large or small.

So should I play a cat rogue or a cat inquisitor? :)

Rogue of course - noble felines bow to no gods.

Or they could just pretend to bow to the gods. After all, their more mundane kindred has been doing that to us mortals for centuries, millenniq even. They've got some kind of good racket going on when their "masters" feed them, wait on them, and provide them shelter. ;)

Hm... now that you mention it, purring a prayer every now and then isn't that bad price for access to divine spells... Not to mention, that one can claim to clense the aquarium in the name of a god.
Rogue plays like a cat, but I guess Inquisitor brings more of "I'm superior to thou" to the table... Close call!

A god doesn't grant spells to a cat in return for worshipful purring. A cat grants purrs to a god in return for casting spells on the cat's behalf.

Having said that, I'd go with rogue. :)

W-A-N-T!!!

That said, I would play a Cat Inquisitor... largely because the Bard/Cleric/Ranger combo is pure awesome.

IMC, Inquisitors are more "Van Helsing", less "Witch Hunter".
