Feats - Are they "stackable"???

Are feats stackable? I know some of them specifically say they are, but if not--are they unstackable?

Specifically, I'm using the Star Wars d20 system (although this question applies to practically any OGL system, I suppose).

I've received the Spacer feat (+2 to Astrogate & Pilot checks) as a bonus since I'm playing a Duros. I also get a bonus 1st level feat as a Fringer (which I am), and I was hoping to take Spacer again to really boost my Pilot & Astrogation skills.

Is that possible?

No. Unless a feat says it can be taken multiple times, it can't. The general rule here is that a feat cannot be taken more than once, with specific exceptions to that rule marked appropriately (such as Weapon Focus, etc.)

Unless the feat description specifically says otherwise, you may not select a feat more than once. If you can do so, then the feat description shall explain exactly how you may do so.

Gotcha. Thanks for the replies--sometimes things that seem fairly straightforward can get a little....ehh, "fuzzy".

Of course, if SW has a skill focus feat, you could take Skill focus in either Pilot or Astrogation to achieve a similar bonus.

Oh yea, definately Skill Focus for a +3 to any skill.

Thoguh I'd take Spacer as your Fringer bonus feat and Skill Emphasis: Pilot as your 1st-level character feat.
