Feats for 13th level Wiz/Archmage 2

I believe I have 6 feats left after the pre requisites for the PrC. The character has taken the heightened? summoning switch out per UA and is specialized in summoning. What feats/ feat chain do you recommend. For matter, what spell should i convert to a spell like ability as per the Archmage PrC?

The variant Enhanced Summoning abilities replace your wizard bonus feats and, therefore, you only have four feats remaining after selecting the prerequisites for Archmage. Three if you are something other than human. For this reason, I suggest multi-classing into a Prc that has full spellcasting progression if at all possible. The bonuses to strength and con gained in place of Wizard bonus feats are inferior to many prestige class abilities.

As far as feat selections are concerned, which source books do you have access to? What do your stats look like? What race are you?

I am referring to the sub-specialization rules as per page 59 of UA and only the substitution for the "No Familiar" for the Rapid Summoning, not the full substitution. The Archmage does have full spellcasting progression, unless I am mistaken. As far as sourcebooks, anything WOTC is fair game. Race is human. Stats are as follows:

without any magic enhancement

str: 11
Con:16
Dex:11
Int:21
cha:13
Wis:14

Well, Augment Summoning is an obvious one.

There's also one in Complete Mage that produces a noxious cloud of gas around your summons when it appears. There's also one that allows you to cast a buff spell on your summons as you summon them. CM is good to the summoning specialist.

For a high level mage, Quicken Spell is very useful. In high level battles, the most limited resources is actions per round.

I like the item creation feats myself, though a lot of people balk at the xp expenditure. If you're going to get just one, Craft Wonderous Item is the most useful.

On the magic item front, a monk's belt will look really good...

I would recommend against the full five levels of Archmage; take a dip into the class for the one or two abilities that fit your character and then get out while you still have 5th level spell slots.

Alienist is a good summoner PrC if you don't mind the whole "Insanity" thing. And if you can get your DM to exchange Planar Binding for Planar Ally, then Thaumaturgist is a good 5-level conjurer class.

If you're going to be summoning most of the time, most of the Archmage's abilities won't be that useful to you. Maybe go for some other PrC instead?

For beautiful utility(and not having to cast false life a lot) Take the reserve feat taht requires the 4th elvel polymorph spell from Complete MAge IDHTBIFOMATM. As a swift action, you can get 1 temporary hit point per character level taht lasts as long as the spell level of your highest polymorph spell. Plus you get a bunch of other choices, but that one alone is worth a feat and keeping a 4th level slot unused.
