Well, I'm late in my readings, but here's the last batch I got: Teen Titans 1 & 2: This series' start give me a really good vibe. The Young Justice characters meshed in really well with Cyborg, Starfire and Beast Boy. I specially liked Superboy teasing about Starfire carrying Robin as they fly ("I'm telling Nightwing!"). Outsiders 1 & 2: At first I thought "Ugh" when I heard about this new series. But the first two issues made really sense (specially for a Nightwing-fan like myself... the reasoning Arsenal uses to get Grayson into this is a masterstroke). The new characters Thunder and Grace are really fun, and Grodd is shown as the genius he is. JSA Princes of Darkness: Still one more issue before this saga ends, and the writing in JSA is EPIC in scale, without getting too convoluted or comedic. Which brings us to... JLA Trial by Fire: Joe Kelly does NOT write well. His tendency to comedy seems really out of place in the JLA (Giffen & DeMatteis did it so much better back in the old JLI series). The one highlight: when all the inmates of Arkham suddenly become aware of their crimes and wish to be punished by their sins (the Joker screams "Let me die! Let me diiiiie!"), the warden asks Batman "So, what do you make of i-... uh, are you smiling?" Sojourn 24 & 25: I hope the new writer picks up the pace of the saga. Not every issue has to be about finding the Fragments or explaining the characters, but they should be more action-packed. This is is progressing so slowly that not even Greg Land's art will keep me buying it after a while... And what's this I hear about Tim Drake hanging his cape and Batman getting a new Robin?
