Dennis feels the truck lurch and lose some speed as it breaks through the garage door and into the largely empty interior of the building. He immediately sees the spinning contraptions with electricity arcing between them and the numerous thugs with guns. Yup, he thinks, definitely the right party. Not wanting to plow through the crowd with the truck (the girl might be in here, after all), he gives the steering wheel a sharp turn and hits the breaks. The back end of the truck whips around, causing the door that One Eye shot open to swing wide. Dozens of wood crates fly out across the floor, splitering and spilling their contents far and wide. Fish, he notes. Oh, and lots of shaved ice that they were packed in. Great. [Drive check for hard, content flinging stop 14 + 3 - 4 = 13.] [Initiative roll 7 + 2 = 9] While he hears his companions open fire, Dennis busies himself with climbing out of the truck - opposite the side facing all the bad dudes. He turns back to the rooster, who's still sitting on the seat. "You should probably hold tight here," he says. "If you spot anything coming that might be particularly dangerous to us, honk the horn." Dennis hops to the floor and is about to leave, then turns back to the rooster once more. He carefully sets his gun on the seat next to the rooster, laid carefully on its side and pointing toward the passenger side door. "Should anyone come after you, just pull the trigger with your beak or something. Good luck, man!" When it gets around to Dennis' initiative... Dennis trots around the to the back of the truck, using the trailer as cover from the goons. He takes a quick glance at all the fish lying in the ice shavings and is suprised to note the amazing variety on display. Many exotic types. One, a lion-fish, catches his eye. His brother has one of these in a fancy salt-water aquartium in his condo. Said something about all those long spines being quite poisonous. Very carefully, Dennis picks it up by the tail and lobs it across the room at one of the gun-toting baddies. [shot 9: Attack on mook 13 + 5 - 4 +1(improvised) = 15] The mook (presumably) drops in screaming agony as the lion-fish's spines are impaled in his face and neck. [ooc - I'll wait to post further actions until the shot count gets down further.]
