Oirhandir had no objection to Fang's request. "I don't mind if you look around, but why don't you check with Ingus first?", suggested the elf. "He's got plenty of swords for sale. Maybe he has one you'll like. Hmm. Swords run anywhere from 10 gold pieces for one about as long as my forearm to 700 gold pieces for the finest two-bladed sword in the land. Unless you want a magical sword, those start at over 2000 gold and go up to, oh, half a king's ransom!" Oirhandir hefted the heavy bag of gold in his hand. "I want to get to that little bag merchant before he changes his mind on the deal. You can come with me, or stay here and see what Ingus has. I'll be coming right back as soon as I get that haversack, so I won't be gone long." The elf walked quickly to the cat-like merchant's stall, cradling the heavy bag in his arms. "It seems like we're both in luck", he called out. "I get my haversack, and you get plenty of money!" He eased the heavy bag onto the table, and with the merchant's help, started counting out the 1800 crowns that he owed him. As they were counting, Oirhandir asked, "You know, I don't think I ever did find out where your homeland is, if you don't mind my asking. Oh, and my name's Oirhandir, some people know it in Orussus even if hardly anyone knows it in these parts." After chatting with the man, the elf picked up his new prize, and made for Ingus's camp.
