Fey Pact

First Post
I am playing a Fey Pact warlock who is now lvl 3 and I want to tie in mechanics of my pact more closely to my character. Is there a dragon magazine that speaks of beings one could make a fey pact with? I have seen some information on the Court of Stars as I believe they are called but it isnt much. Even then I would wrather have a pact with some form of magical beast from the fey wilds, maybe even one closely tied with winter? So if there is a place with some gathered information I would love to know where to find it, thanks!

Which info have you found so far? There's a little in the Manual of the Planes, and a few Dragon articles on the matter.

Besides the Sealing the Pact article, you probably want this article, about the Prince of Frost, complete with feats and options for Fey Pact Warlocks pacted with the court of winter fey.

This post at rpg.net covers a lot of the named Archfey, along with Primordials, Exarchs and Primal Spirits.

If those are still too humanoid/sentient, find some creatures you like that are a natural fit to the Feywild, name it and give it a story. Perhaps one of the Feywild dragons listed in Draconomicon: Chromatic Dragons; maybe an ancient alpha-male displacer beast or thunderfury boar.

Any of the above posts give good ideas, but you don't have to stop there. Anything from mythology that might fit could be used. The Feywild is full of life. You could be a Scion of the World Tree. A mountain could speak to you.

The only thing to keep in mind is that the Warlock pacts are just that: deals. Fleshing out the terms and reasons for such a negotiation can help bring detail to your character and power source. Certainly not all pacts have a Faustian feel to them, but what is the power source getting in return? Or did your Warlock steal his power? Lots of possibilities...but the relationship between Warlock and Pact-source is an important flavor distinction (typically) over other arcane, divine and primal classes.

Thank you for your reply everyone. The articles given have been a great help and although I havent decided or created a being for my pact yet it is now due to the great amount of possibilities I have instead of the lack of choices.
