Can anyone tell me about the plane Arborea, the subsection Brightwater?

My PCs are going to be Plane Shifting there, and I don't have the Manual of the Planes. I just need the info on what the place looks like/what's inhabiting there, any info like that. They're planning on going to speak to a Proxy of the cleric's god, so no fighting.

There is no "Brightwater" mentioned in Manual of the Planes, but there is a place called "Evergold" in Arborea that might be what you're looking for. (Apparently there have been quite a few name changes over the years; this may or may not be one of them.) Evergold (an Elven name for what others call "The Fountain of Beauty") is a beautiful pool of water surrounded by golden sand. Anyone bathing in its waters gains a temporary (one month and one day) 1d4+1 enhancement bonus to Charisma. Good luck finding it on Arborea, though - apparently it moves around and changes location. Sneaky Elven pantheon!

I haven't looked at the 3e MotP that closely for a while, but it appears they've left Brightwater out of it this time round.

You'd be best asking for someone with either the old 1e MotP or the 2e Planescape boxed set - Planes of Conflict. Unfortunately, I"m at work rightnow so don't have access to my copy.

The Planescape files I've got don't mention any such place, especially not in conjunction with Arborea. I cannot help you.

What is supposed to live in Brightwater? That could help people track down other names of the place. (Gods, concepts, etc.)
