As they scramble around in the dark they are preyed upon by a group of <strong>ASSASSIN BUGS</strong>. While a seemingly random encounter they are, in actuality, a group of trained guardians for a group of <strong>XVARTS</strong>. They sit in wait to relieve unwary adventurers of their loot, waiting until their pretties make short work of them, or pounce upon the weary and blooded group.</p><p></p><p>Though harried, the group continues deeper, deeper still, stumbling into a cave of <strong>SCREAMING DEVILKIN</strong>, the wee beasties tearing and rending their flesh as they relentlessly attack all in their path. The party begins to suspect that these are no mere happenstances, that they are somehow nefariously linked, and they are correct. As the enter a large subterranean cave, with ceilings so high that they are impossible to see. It appears that there are cloud formations of some sort, but as they are underground they are sure this is an illusion, when a large avian creature pounces upon them with a dark skinned humanoid perched upon it's back. It's a renegade <strong>DROW ELF</strong> perched atop his <strong>GRYPH</strong> mount. He has claimed these caves as his own and his matriarchal society be damned! He is man, hear him roar, or at least screech, well, not so much him, but his mount. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin :D" data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" /></p></blockquote><p></p>
