Well, a lot of us would love for WotC to do an FC3 for yugoloths but they're silent on the issue. And it doesn't look good considering the 2007 catalog. Our one hope is the last trimester of 2007. But if the cries are loud enough, maybe they'll plan one for 2008? Better late than never.

If WotC doesn't do a definitive source on yugoloths for 3E now for the fear of people not being interested enough, then when? Next edition? 5E? Now is the time and I think WotC needs to stop being so scared and take a gamble once in awhile.

So who feels now is the time for them to consider an FC3 on yugoloths? I think it's time to show some light on them. There's enough info from past editions to warrant one and definitely room to create new material with them. Don't be afraid of them being uninteresting, MAKE them interesting. If they can gamble with Magic of Incarnum, this will definitely do better.

Right now I'm working on a campaign with Bubonis as the ultimate villain. Something like this would be great. I'd especially dig seeing more info on Tartarus and Hades.

I would love to see a third book on Yugoloths,
they have been an important part of my campaign for the last 2 years, mostly inspired be shemeska, rather than anything official.

I wouldn't even mind if WotC incorporated some of the other NE outsiders into the book.
I would still picked it up. Of course I am a sucker for books on the Arcane or Fiends of any stripe.

I would love one. No PS fan would not, I think.

Scheming Yugoloths are one of my favorite campaign staples.

But honestly, I think between Hellbound and Faces of Evil, my Yugoloth fluff needs (and FC's seem to be largely about fluff) are pretty well satisfied, and I am uncertain, short of rehiring certain authors who have quit the industry, who would do it better.

Why not lump in a bunch of less popular Outsiders? They could do it like a "Races of ..." book, and have sections for 'Loths, Slaad and Modrons.

Then a chapter on one major race from each of he Elemental planes (Djinn, Efreeti, ... uh ... yeah, others).

The 'Loth chapter would be the largest and best, of course. But I'm vaguely interested in those others too. :)

Cheers, -- N

Yes, it would be nice to have a FCIII featuring daemons/yugoloths; however, given the generally poor way that particular outsider group has been handled to date (almost as bad as modrons), I have my doubts that an FCIII with them as the foundation would be all that great.

I voted yes, but I would actually prefer it if FCIII dealt with all "other" fiends, not just Yugoloths. Thus, it'd have a chapter on Yugoloths, a chapter on Night Hags, Nightmares, and Larvae, a chapter on Rakshasas, a chapter on Gehreleths, and a chapter covering "minor" fiends (bladelings, hordlings, and so on).

After that, a Codex of Neutrality with Modrons, Rilmani, and Slaadi would be perfect.

I don't agree with Yugoloths being lumped in with other fiends in one book. Mainly because the book would HAVE to be bigger than 160 pages. You can't accomplish that with only 160 pages so Yugoloths should have their own book.

Unless, miraculously they bump it to 280+ pages, then it's cool. However, the Fiendish Codex line is 160 pages so I believe they will stick to that format.

Besides, why regulate the yugoloths to part of a book? They deserve a whole one like the other 2. They're a major part of the Blood War and the multiverse as the NE of the fiends and the progenitor of most of the crap between the devils and demons.
