Forget the name of it, Pyroplast Dragon? Anyway one of the fiendish dragons in Dragon 300 looks terribly similar to a balrog. Anyone else think so?

Pyroclastic Dragon, and yes it does look like one a little bit.

Those "issue 300" dragons would have been a LOT more impressive with sorcerer levels! Since none of them had columns for it in the listings, I had to assume they didn't have them. I guess I could have just given them all "red dragon" progression, but I wasn't sure. The Howling Dragon my PC's met managed to be somewhat menacing before the party mage started her "Quickened Haste, Horrid Wilting, Horrid Wilting".
