Hi... I have been waiting to see Counter Pack 2 (Tribes, Clans & Cults) since the end of summer... I've asked my FLGS in Montreal many times--now that I've moved to Ottawa I'm asking around here...

Nothing.

You folks are in Toronto, so how come no CP2 in the stores in The Great White North? (Is it a distribution error?)

This is one FD product I really wanted for my Kingdoms of Kalamar campaign... Released in August? Excuse me, but it's mid-November and I still don't see it anywhere...

I really wish publishers would cite the date their products are actually going on the store shelves! (No, I do not buy online--I want a product before me, in 3D, before I fork over my cash.)

A reply explaining the situation or showing where I can pick up a copy in person--assuming I've been blind all along--would be really appreciated.

I realize it may not be FD's fault--but you've got a potential customer who's getting anxious you'll be sold out before having had the chance to pick up a copy...

No answer to your question, actually, but the Counter Pack 2 has at least reached Germany quite some time ago. I have it here on my desk .

Hi Guys,

OK, I'm not James, but I'm in my office that's less than 100 feet from his! He's been super busy lately (with the new baby and the always-hectic 4th Quarter -- I think I saw him quietly weeping at his computer this morning), so I'll {delurk} and post in his stead.

CP2 shipped out to distribution shortly after GENCON, and did, in fact, make it up to Canada ('cause it was at my local FLGS). However, the first batch has sold out.

We'll be getting more out soon - in fact, I'm hand-collating them this weekend before dropping them off at the shrinkwrapper on Tuesday -- so it'll hopefully appear in Ottawa shortly before 30 feet of snow bury your wonderful town.

Until that time, Winterthorn, send me an e-mail with your mailing address to vince@fierydragon.com and I'll help out a fellow Canuck.

Winterthorn - I've never noticed any of the counter packs at Ottawa's best gaming stores so far.

I do almost all my shopping at Fandom II (single best gaming store I've found in Canada to date), but never picked up a counter pack there... got mine from the FDP guys at GenCon.

I think I've seen SOME sort of counter packs at Fandom, possibly in the rotating display to the right of the new arrivals. But I'm a cardboard standups fan myself.

Fandom II is one of the best gaming shops you will find.

It is at least equal to the Valet de Coeurs in Montreal.

it's on Laurier Street downtown, almost kitty-corner to the Municipal Library. (Can't get much more specific... I happen to live half-way to Montreal).

Laurier Street West between Elgin and Metcalfe. South side of Elgin. While you're there, be sure to stop by the Indian food place a few doors down, they have a great lunch buffet!
