One of the things I think a fighter needs to do is be the best at fighting. So I think it needs some benefits that are combatants don't get.  Some of the simple things we implemented are:<ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">OA. A fighter gets all the typical 3e OA.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">The fighter can trade in extra attacks for more damage on a single attack.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Instead of healing you can spend your second wind to add 1d10+lvl damage to one attack.</li> </ul></blockquote>
