She is intended for an epic campaign of EL 26. Her CR is Medusa CR + 20 for the fighter: they specify in the ELH that all class levels pass 20 are halved, thus a 30th level monk is CR 25. I think that makes sense when you compare a 30th level PC to a CR 30 critter from the ELH: they are NASTY. One thing I learned from DM'ing epic games: NEVER base yourself on the CR of a monster to determine if it is an equal challenge for your party. Look at all it's stats, sit back, and really, really think about it before putting it in your adventure. I got VERY close calls. A few weeks back, I put a Sirrush (CR 24) against a level 25 party. After the first round of combat, I looked at the monster's stats more closely, and said outloud "sorry, I think I really farked up good this time. I have NO idea how you'll get out of this one...". However, the next attack the PC did forced the critter to save v.s. massive damage. No fudging, I rolled a 1 on it's Fort save. I was soooo relieved. If not, it was a guaranteed TPK. From then on, I was very careful about what I throw at the party. Very. Even then, very few combats are a cakewalk. I love epic gaming.
