Message: <blockquote data-quote="Drakard" data-source="post: 4727728" data-attributes="member: 69223">Not a min/maxer, but just trying to think outside the box, not sure if this was already addressed or not. Alright, Combat Challenge states that the fighter, reguardless of if he misses or hits a target will get that target marked.  So if you use a burst ability you have the opportunity to mark all those targets you swing at, since it just states misses or hits (and doesnt say with a specific type of attack ie; Melee Basic Attack). So, if you are a fighter who has multiclassed with say an Invoker.  And you take on some of their encounters that "attack" multiply targets, can you in essence mark those in the burst?   Its just an attack, granted its not a melee fighter based attack, but it doesnt have stated in the Combat Challenge what type of attack you need to use.  And since you are a main class fighter you still have that Challenge ability.   Your thoughts <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" /></blockquote>
