The idea of comparing the classes and trying to create some kind of equivalency is predicated on the notion that they are in direct competition. Your above statements essentially boil down to you thinking that a druid "wins" when compared to a fighter in melee. If winning is irrelevant and the goal is fun, your whole philosophy about balance becomes irrelevant. If we're just having fun, who cares if one character can do things another character can't?</p></blockquote><p></p>
