Go ahead and roll.  That does not mean the DC can't be your bonus + 50, though.Maybe the Chamberlain is offended by having  been Charmed.  Perhaps the King has a negative reaction to his court officials being subjected to enchantment right here, within his own palace.  Would you suggest it is inappropriate that there be consequences because the Fighter doesn't like the Chamberlain's attitude, so he beats him within an inch of his life, strips him and hangs him upside down from the chandelier?  He's just using his bog standard character abilities!If a PC is Charmed, and gives his New Best Buddy all his worldly possessions because he's such a nice fellow, and besides he said be would bring them right back when he's done with them, are the PC's prohibited from taking any action against that wily Enchanter later because he just used a bog-standard ability afforded him as an NPC with a Wizard level?</blockquote>
