Message: <blockquote data-quote="MGibster" data-source="post: 9565968" data-attributes="member: 4534">This is a dire boar made for WotC's Chainmail game from around 2002.  I've had this thing for more than twenty years and only just painted it.  My goal with this one was to work with more natural colors that you might actually see on a real animal and try my hand at some more wet blending.  For the snout, I used a tanned flesh color and wet blended it with the same brown I used for the fur.  I followed that up with a nice wash made from Sand Golem speedpaint with a highlight of tanned flesh at the end of the snout.  This turned out far better than the abominable bear I painted a few years back.  It was just a regular black bear, but the paint job was abominable.
