Not all the memories were good of course, paticularly the end, the coming of Diamond Weapon, the Meteor strike and the eventual disbanding of SOLDIER. Still, it was likely enough to earn a smile, his long journey all but over.  Yet for all its beauty, the scenery could not hold all of his attention. For as he approached the cliff-face, he could see the gleam of metal in the twilight. It was a sword, a massive one at that, driven point deep into the soil, a marker forever overlooking Midgar. It certainly seemed to have been there forever, the blade covered in small patches of rust, the only true color on the blade that of its ruby red, black stitched hilt. As he approached, a soft growling could be heard, low and threatening, coming from just behind the blade...</blockquote>
