Hey everyone, your Frog overlord here, it is official as off this post; Final Quest 2 is in early production! We heard the cries of the people, the feedback of countless deaths and failed runs; have brought a smile to our faces in the office, so prepare to do that all again! The original game launched all the way back in March 2024 on kickstarter which is now available on the The Grinning Frog store. FInal Quest 1 For those who have not yet delved into the depths yet, here is a brief rundown of what you'll uncover... Story You and your party had a mission, a quest if you will - slay the Beast Who Shakes the Earth (as the locals call it). To reach it you descended into the dark, dangerous depths of the Caverns of Mourne but you never reached the beast. The last thing you remember was the war cries and overwhelming numbers of the underlurkers as they swarmed out of the darkness - and the desperate sounds of your friends as they fell under their claws and fangs. Then you died. You come round in more pain than you've ever known, the troll amulet around your neck burning against your skin and the taste of fresh blood in your mouth. You're crumpled in a corner, clothes torn, armour stripped, weapons and equipment gone but you're alive. Your magic amulet, now fused and powerless, brought you back from the dead. Trouble is, you are miles underground, wounded, lacking weapons or supplies and your friends are dead. Two questions come to mind - one, can you get out alive and two, can you avenge your friends on the way back? Campaign

Solo play gamebook with 40 pages of complete rules.
Using the same Zilight card system (our zombie universe, highly recommended) all you need is a playing deck with
Bespoke decks available on the Store page of our website :)
Final Quest 2 As I said, FQ 2 is in early development and is set to release mid June on Kickstarter but as it stands this will follow directly on from the first game, if you survived that long, after leaving the Caverns of Mourne you make the long venture back home. All updates will come via our social media pages Instagram & Twitter plus our original Final Quest kickstarter page, if you go ahead and click the 'save' option you'll be notified by any posts we make on there. Currently we have 3 different cover pages up for a vote, I believe option C is winning but there is still time to join in! I will admit we often times try to change up our formats and reivent the wheel from game to game this time however sometimes there is no reason too, if you've played FQ1 then this will play very much the same just with new enemies, locations and gear. Until next time, see you on the battlefield, Ben (Junior frog Executive)
