Final Redoubt looks forward toward 4th edition. We would like to extend a special offer to all our customers and fans for the upcoming release. Your response to this e-mail will help us determine our course in the future months. This is a very special offer, so make sure read far enough to make an informed decision. Our intentions are to begin by releasing the first three products of The Echoes of Heaven in 4th Edition, hardbound with color interiors. We also intend to release Critical Matters, a product of spectacular (and not so spectacular) critical results for your 4th edition game. This will be a saddle stitched product, likely in the 32-64 page range, but with more than one thousand unique critical results to enhance your game. This is just the initial release schedule. More books of both types of products would follow. We’re looking for those interested in buying the books. We’ll offer a normal preorder closer to release if everything goes forward as planned, however those who respond to this offer and an accompanying preorder will receive special treatment. First of all, you will receive a special discount as an early committer (this has yet to be determined, but it will be better than our other preorder deal). Second, when we release, you will receive an autographed copy (in fairness, this might be part of our normal preorder). Finally, you will be declared a Hero of The Echoes of Heaven and your name will be printed with your compatriots on a special page of thanks in the book. The above are only for people who preorder the book(s) before we send it to the printer. You need not express interest in all the books to qualify. If you just want the critical book, that’s fine. If you just want the Campaign Setting, that’s fine too. Those who buy all four will have a special place on the list of Heroes. We aren’t asking for money at this point. We’re merely asking for intent to buy these books. We’re trying to estimate level of interest, not to pry money out of your wallets before the GSL releases. In a moment, I’ll briefly go over the products, but for those more familiar with our line, I’ll wrap up so you can make your decision. Note: We haven’t seen the Game System License yet.
