D&D 5E Finally bought 5e core books, price was too good

Finally took the plunge. The price on 5e PHB, DMG, and MM were all at just under $24 each so I buckled and grabbed 'em all, plus Princes of the Apocalypse. Gonna take Amazon a while to fulfill because apparently everyone else buckled, too.

Did you buckle too?

Lucky you. Amazon UK seems to have stopped doing discounts on D&D books.

Still, even at full price RPG core rulebooks still represent good value for money - provided you actually play the game, at least!

Yeah but someone across the pond got revenge. I had 3 Faber-Castell clutch pencils in my cart for an insanely low price and they disappeared overnight.

I've been piecemealing. I nabbed the PHB a couple months ago for like $34. I probably shouldn't have dipped to grab the DMG but the price was too good so I grabbed it with this deal. It really makes me want to splurge for the MM but, I'll have to bide my time this go around. hope it doesn't bite me later

Piecemealing is normally how I eat, too. But I saw the PHB and MM for $24, and I figured , that's not much more than what I'd have to pay for used 3.5 books + shipping. Then the DMG finally came down off her high horse to $23.8x, and I figured why not go ahead and get that too. Wasn't happy with paying so much more for PotA but in the final analysis we're talking ten bucks more so what the hell.
