I need a slight variation on the Fire Trap spell that is in the PHB 3.5 on page 231.
Instead of activating when the warded object is opened I need it to activate in a manner similar to Sepia Snake Sigil. That is to say: when a certain paragraps or line in the book is intentionally read. Not necessarily aloud.
Will this create any great difference in spell-level, [descriptors] or similar spell descriptions?
Also, it would be very usefull if the blast of fire didn't harm the actual book that it is warding.
