I recently read that a magazine (either Dragon or Dungeon) would come with spell area "sheets" for use with all the square maps found in the latest Dragon's or Dungeon's. Could someone tell me which Dragon or Dungeon this is?
If they're going to, it hasn't happened yet. But I do remember it being mentioned as a possibility in the Scale Mail section of one of the Dragons recently...

We use a "Battle Bowl (TM)" for our spell effects. It works great, it fits over the mini's. Then you just trace around it. Or use the delux glass "Battle Bowl (TM)", & just leave it on the table.
Do you wanna buy one? It's an offical "Battle Bowl (TM)", says so right on the bowl! For a fellow Enworld(er) I'll give it to you at cost, & autograph it for you. Only $25(US)+ shipping & taxes, Delux Glass is $50(US)+ shipping & taxes . Or buy the set, every size for every possible spell area. Only $164.95 (US)+ shipping & taxes, or the delux glass set $329.90(US)+ shipping & taxes .
When I have some product pic's done I'll post them.
I just made my own out of 1" graph paper. Pick an intersection, and count out the appropriate amount of squares, trace, and cut. It works wonders on our battlemat. As long as you remember that diagonals go 5', 15', 20', etc. you can make them yourself.
If I remember correctly, the templates were to appear in Dragon 300, but when they got them in they were horrible so they put it off till a future issue
