Firebrand...

Can a firebrand spell be used to hit a large or larger creature more than once? I first ruled no. Two fights with large creatures later I'm think, no way.

Thoughts?

I've seen a modified version of that spell somewhere that says explicitly that one creature cannot be hit by multiple bursts in the same round (only takes damage from one) but not sure where. Probably an errata or sage answer.

I'd certainly never allow it.

It was clarified in the MoF Errata that a creature can only be affected by one burst.

ARGH! Two different encounters that I let get mauled from that spell before I really started to wonder... now the truth comes out!
