FireFox

I'm having problems browsing the 'new' enworld in Mozilla FireFox (in particular the pre-0.9 nightly builds. And not just the most recent one, all of the builds I have tried over the last 6 or so weeks (yet no open bugs at bugzilla.mozilla.org seem related to the problems I am having)

The dropdown menus at the top (En World, Chat, Quick Links, etc.) when clicked force themselves to align with the top of the screen Does that make sense? not sure how to describe it. If the links are in the middle of the screen and I click them, the browser scrolls up until the links are at the topmost portion of the screen possible before the menus drop down. This doesn't happen in IE or Opera

Also, the quick reply links do not work in FireFox. When I click them, it brings me to a regular reply window  On top of that, the WYSIWYG editor is not functioning for me, I have to use the basic one.

And if I click on a member's nick (on the left side of their posts) it is supposed to drop down a menu of options for that users, and it DOES, however as soon as I click their nickname I am redirected to their profile

vBulletin Version 3.0.0 does not seem very FireFox friendly (maybe it has something to do with EnWorld using a release candidate instead of the Gold version?)

The solution is simple.
Do not use a beta browser as your primary browser.
Firefox's own makers advise this. As Firefox is in beta no support will be offered for it since there is no knowing when they will update their code and render any fixes we make at our end useless.

Edit: PS - Tech issues of this nature are best reported to vbulletin themselves, though you are very likely to get the same answer. While vbulletin is open code and modifiable, things like this are above my head to do anything with. The modifications I've made to the backend have been for added functionality - very little code has been actually *changed*

just to note, I cannot reproduce this behavior in the latest Milestone build of Firefox (v0.8). If you're having trouble with your build, it is a bug in Firefox, not a bug in the code of vBulletin or EN World.

This is only partially true.

"Firefox 0.8 is a Technology Preview. While this software works well enough to be relied upon as your primary browser in most cases, we make no guarantees of its performance or stability. It is a pre-release product and should not be relied upon for mission-critical tasks. See the License Agreement for more information."

Hi everyone, thanks for the replies.

I was premature to post this as a bug report here... sorry. I've pinpointed all of the issues to a single FireFox extention (sadly one of my favorites, Tabbrowser Extentions) and will bring them to the proper attention.
