I have a great deal of nostalgia for them, but the quality is definitely mixed. Some hold up fine without nostalgia, many do not. You could make a movie adaptation of them, but of the number of total D&D fans in the world, the percentage that remember those books is likely fairly low, based on what we know of the D&D audience demographics.</blockquote>
