Two-weapon fighting (Paladin) is not a Paladin fighting style. Find Greater Steed is concentration-free flying. Drop Dual Wielder for Mounted Combatant and you can tank for your mount. The best melee buffs are Tenser's Tranformation (2d12 damage, auto advantage, 50 temporary HP), Holy Weapon (2d8 damage, 1 hour duration, minor action to start), Haste (spell slot efficient, +2 AC, 1 extra attack, advantage on dex saves). All of Armor of Agathys, Tenser's and Haste can be cast on you, and free bounce on your steed. A griffon or pegasus is 160' speed, plus 160' dash, gives you insane maneuverability with haste. You are going to want to poach a concentration self buff I suspect as a magical secret. Simulacrum also works on your steed if you finish it while mounted. The duplicate is not a steed, so your duplicate can then summon yet another steed for themselves. But that is getting cheesy. ;) You have to ask your DM if your Greater Steed can act independently. It is an intelligent (6+) mount, so simple reading of the rules say "yes". Counterspell is really nice too. As is the pedestrian "shield" and "absorb elements". Are you starting with any magic gear? A sword+board build is tempting, as a +2 or higher shield and plate armor starts reaching "hard to hit" levels of AC. Having an off-hand smite source is also good tho, and dual wielding stacks well with tenser's transformation. A double-bladed scimitar with GWF gives you 3 taps, and one weapon to enchant with holy weapon. 2d4+2d8+str x2 / 1d4+2d8+str isn't a bad attack routine. If you can get a flame tongue one it gets ridiculous: 2d4+2d6+2d8+str x 2 / 1d4+2d6+2d8+str That is 75.5 just-swing damage at level 15. And as most of it is in dice, your tip-vantage crits are worth a lot. Also, when mounted, you have advantage on medium-sized creatures. Great for Elven Accuracy. Are you using class feature variants? Tenser's is a level 6 bard spell then.
