FishPirateGames, the team that brought you the Bestselling DMsGUild series, After Lost Mine, announces that its newest product, Ancora: the Continent of Epore, is available on KickStarter here. Ancora is the name of the product and of the planet. The setting currently only consists of Epore and a few surrounding islands, which is all anyone living on Epore knows to exist. There are other continents to the north, east, and west, but they have not been discovered by the peoples of Epore. There is evidence in some of the religious traditions of the current inhabitants that people from continents to the east have visited the eastern coast of Epore in the past. The world of Ancora is harsh. Death is an accepted and often welcome occurrence for many of the inhabitants, but every once in a while there is a sprout of hope in the form of a hero. The people of Epore need hope that their lives will get better. Adventurers can be the heroes that become a source of hope for others. In Ancora, most problems are local and require local solutions. Yes, there are terrible threats to whole regions, but this setting is about the players; about heroes. The setting is a low-magic one made up of different peoples and some monsters. Although Ancora is a low-magic setting, there is definitely magic in the world. Many inhabitants scoff at the notion that magic exists and others see magic in everything. How else can you explain rain or the wind? A few inhabitants are able to tap into the magic around them and perhaps harness its power to some extent. These people have various names - magic-user, shaman, priest, druid, witch, or sorcerer - and are all very different from one another. Everyone who supports the project through Kickstarter will receive a PDF copy of the 70+ page sourcebook, Ancora: the Continent of Epore, and the adventure, Heroes of Frozen Mountain, as well as a PDF of each met stretch goal. This is a wonderful opportunity to get multiple products at a low price. Early Backers will have their names included in Ancora: the Continent of Epore. DMsGuild Products can be found here. Thank you, Christopher
