Well... the title might be misleading, but i've had a bit of trouble catching people's attention, so I thought I'd try something new... Anywho, why you're here, why not check out the following psionic items? Gemstone Eye ------------ Similar in basic appearance to an eye-patch, except the portion that would normally cover the eye socket is relplaced with a precious gemstone (ie. Ruby, Emerald, Topaz, Amythyst, Saphire, Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz, Garnet, or even Diamond) and the majority of the band is crafted of metal that, like most magic items, shapes to the head of the wearer, creating a snug fit. The wearer of a Gemstone Eye does not have his vision impeded. He can see through the gemstone perfectly well, though is eye may be concealed by the stone. His vision is tainted by the color of the gem, though (so a Ruby gemstone eye will cause him to see everything as very red). The Eye itself is charged with psionic power. The Eye empowers the wearer with the ability to use any thrown weapon (and only for throwing) as if he had proficiency. If he already has proficiency, then he instead gains a +2 competency bonus to attack rolls and a +1 competency bonus to damage rolls with the weapon. The bonus to damage only applies if the target is within 30ft. The Eye takes up the "Eye Lenses or Goggles" magic Item slot. (Based on Bracers of Archery) Manifester Level: 4th; Prerequisites: Craft Universal Item, Craft Psionic Arms and Armor; Market Price: 5,100 gp; Weight: -lb. Greater Gemstone Eye -------------------- Appears exactly the same as a normal Gemstone Eye, but when examined closely, it is found to be of superior craftsmanship. Functions like a Gemstone Eye, plus the wearer can see as if under the effects of a True Seeing power at all times. Manifester Level: 10th; Prerequisites: Craft Universal Item, Craft Psionic Arms and Armor, "True Seeing"; Market Price: ???? gp (5,100 + [unlimited use True Seeing x 1.1]); Weight: -lb. My original intention was an item that would be very useful for the psionic assassin (namely the SoulKnife). I feel that although the first one listed is the more accurate (and probably more balanced) of the two, the second (which is still unpriced) is closer to what I imagined this item to be. And anyways, who doesn't want their kick-ass SoulKnife to look even cooler?
