How to make a flash/bang in d&d 3.5
Books needed Dmg 3.5 ,ph 3.5, and Complete adventurer.
First read thunderstone on players handbook 3.5 pg. 129.
Step two read C A flash Pellet pg. 118
Step three read Dmg 3.5 Slash Weapons on pg. 28(note may not always apply )
Thunderstone 30 gp, Flash Pellet 50gp, Flash/Bang stone 100 gp/each
Flash/Bang stone
Description: It is a 1 inch blue/green Breen sphere. Classed as Exotic Alchemical item.
Time to make one is 12hours items need one blue sapphire worth 100 gp, base limestone.
4 rank in craft alchemy
-1 when throw because is made for slings
+1 to hit when used in a sling
Cost: 50gp-300gp (stronger ones can be found in black market , but are not legal in most realms)(big city guards can use for riot control)
Crit: as sling (M) 1d4 x2 range: 50 ft. str. Bonus every 2 point give you extr. 10ft.
Weight: 1 oz. Sometimes 1 ½ oz. (rare)
Special damage: Flash/Bang(breen colored Flash) All creatures in a 10ft. radius Dc 16 Fortitude save or be Deafened for 1 hour & blinded for 1 round and dazzled 1 round after that. Other effects are A -4 penalty on initiative 30% chance to miscast(spell has opposite effect and no range) and lose any spell with a verbal or Somatic(blinded) component that it try to cast.
Note: if targeting a square it is AC 5
