Flat earth

Has anyone ever tried to put out a setting where it was on a "Flat Earth"? If so which one

I think it might be fun to actually have a world where one could fall off if they went too far

Exalted has a flat world. But you only fall off in one direction, so far as I know. The other directions stretch infinitely far, but they're essentially elemental planes by that point.

Another non-d20 sourcebook is Chessboards for The Primal Order and it has several examples of flat planes/worlds. My favorite are the floating bits of mud. Each is a plane and they slowly move up, through the metaplane, until they fry against the ceiling/sun. They are flat and it is possible to fly between them (though the planar constants might be different).

The default Runequest setting Glorantha resembles an infinite flat plane with a limitless 'sky' above it. You don't fall off anywhere. If you continue traveling in one direction you end up in one of the divine realms.

All my worlds don't follow real world cosmology. What the people believe is true.... for the most part.

Glorantha, the original Runequest setting, is flat. Most worlds I run are flat. Flat Earth theories are pretty rare in our own historical past. But if you want to check out real world flat earth ideas, I recommend looking at Chinese mythology and a fabulous book written in the 6th century called Christian Geography by Cosmas Indicopleustes.

Most flat earths don't have edges, in my experience; most have encircling oceans or encircling mountains. A world with sharp edges would be really cool, though -- I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
