Flavorful 2H Weapon for Death God...

First Post
I have a villain in my campaign world who is attempting to become the god of death. What I would like is a two-handed weapon that looks cool and fits the image of the character without going the stereotypical scythe route.

The individual in question is a half-black dragon/half-orc true necromancer (with several other classes, but the necro is the central theme) headed toward blackguard as well, hence the desire for a 2H weapon.

I'm not really interested in the number crunchy part, I'd rather give him something that fits his personality. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Some ideas off the top of my head:

* greatclub in the form of Orcus' Rod

* tombstone (maybe the same as a greatclub)

* linked vertebrae (as spiked chain)

Cheers,
Roger

-Heavy flail with a big, bloody spiked skull on the business end

-Long, thin, gnarled shephard's crook (quarterstaff) carved with grotesque imagery

-Heavy club with constantly snaking barbed wire at the end (Barbed wire could possibly lash out like like a whip, but that might be too cool...)

-Heavy club with rib bones running along either side of it (Think of an Aztec sword)

Orc double axe seems perfect for the character. Although a greataxe would work just as well. He could call himself 'The razer of the forest of souls' or something equally poetic.

And this is why I ask these things here. :D Here I was just thinking of boring old PHB weapon descriptions...hadn't thought of making those weapons out of well...people. That's cool.
