Hi Venport, Is your Orc going to be travelling in polite (or at least somewhat civilised) company? If so, may I point you to my Story Hour (see link below) and Tunthi the Half-Orc. Paul the DM plays my character's cohort with conviction and aplomb. In terms of playability, I think it a very good model of a very dumb character. Tunthi would have the same base sense of the above flow chart. However, he is kept in line by Lucifus, thus making him playable in terms of the group dynamic. I think this is important if you are going to play such a character reasonably. There has to be something that keeps him in line. He can go off the rails here and there where appropriate but in the end, you have to remember that an orc constantly going psycho will be quickly ejected by such a party. If however, he is part of a group with similar ideals - see therefore kill - then go to town with the concept. In terms of flaws, may I suggest the following: - A certain degree of stupid innocence. This indicates a low wisdom as well as intelligence. It allows him to get away with certain behaviour. - Dealing with NPC's inappropriately - being overly friendly in an effort to "fit in" for example as much as being stupidly coarse or rough. - Inappropriate activity in regards to bodily functions at inappropriate times. Burping, scratching, urinating (read the story hour), farting etc. can be incredibly hilarious. My tip would be however to play this selectively. If overdone though, it can become tiresome rather than funny. - Have your character look at inappropriate things inappropriately. Even just innocently staring at something for a period of time (somebody's hat, body part etc.) can help assist in portraying stupidity. Anyhow, your character sounds interesting. I look forward to hearing more about how things go. If you like the story hour, feel free to comment too. Best Regards Herremann the Wise
