Flex stats for non-standard races in the CB?

I was designing a genasi mage for a friend, and discovered that you can't choose Str or Con as a bonus stat; you have to have Str. The article last month, though, provided these flex stats. Has this just not been implemented yet, or is there some sort of glitch?

CB just hasn't been updated to include this as an option, yet. Not sure why they didn't change it when they did the big HoS update last week, but... whatever. It'll come along eventually, I'm sure.

Yeah, probably was just more work than they could handle in one shot or it needed more testing or something. You'd think the ability score stuff would be simple enough, but god only knows how twisty the logic in CB is (I can imagine, I have my own analogous problems with applications I'm updating...).

If the OCB XML is anything like the LCB's XML, it's actually really, really, frighteningly easy to give a race a selectable bonus. And, anyway, the groundwork of the code is already in there for the PHB3 and HoFL/FK races.

Frankly, it's baffling that they haven't added that yet, unless they're still doing that, "Dragon doesn't get added until two months later" BS and it will show up in May.

It isn't so much the tweaking of some XML, which I'd guess you're probably right is at least most of it. It is the SQA process etc. It is one thing to tweak some XML in your personal CB. If you break something, no big deal. It is quite another thing to roll out even the smallest change to a service that is being used by 50k plus users on a daily basis. Believe me, it is more akin to brain surgery and the simplest task involves an astonishing number of hours of process to push through.
