I don't know anything about it beyond what I found in Wookieepedia. Was there something specific you were thinking of here?4. Having grown up on Kabal in a tough way, it sounds like Garrett's Debt Obligation would be to a local "protection racket" like the Houk Barcad...with their long shark-like smirks they claim they're here to help with his family's medical expenses...but really they're hoping to tighten the noose and force Garrett fly smuggled cargo for them. This might be something to explore with     [MENTION=6801311]KahlessNestor[/MENTION] as Arsinoë could be working for (aka forced to work for) the Houk Barcad at a cantina.5. What is Garrett's attitude toward the Resistance? Does he share the characteristic neutrality toward galactic conflict like other Kabalians? Does he have a negative opinion of the Empire for bombing Shoribus (the planetary capital) in retaliation for Kabal hosting the Conference of Uncommitted Worlds? Does he have a negative opinion of the New Republic for their crippling the lucrative spice/slave trade running through Kabal?6. What were the circumstances of Garrett's uncle's death? That's something that you could leverage to connect Garrett to the adventure or other PCs depending on what you choose. For example, totally wild idea... What if Garrett's uncle used hauling freight as a cover and actually was Sarn Doree, the smuggler who owned Rex (     [MENTION=6788545]xynthoros[/MENTION] ) and was killed by the First Order?7. With Garret, did he have a Force awakening? Or have his unusual senses always just been part of him? Is there family history of Force-use or is he the first known? Does he even use language like "the Force" or is it just a gut feeling that nobody yet realizes its significance?8. Do you already have a trajectory for Garrett's character development/arc in mind? Do you want his family to play a role, or are you conceiving of him as an orphan type? Or is that something you entirely want to discover during play?9. How might you see his obsession with space playing out in an inconvenient way for the party? Obviously, it's a great roleplaying aspect of Garrett's character, but an Obligation is supposed to introduce complications. Would Obsession: Space be the kind of thing where you'd want me as GM to drop tempting-but-risky situations/technology/exploration options that you could pursue (or begrudgingly resist)?10. As a Pathfinder, the way you describe Garrett sounds like he's just itching to get off-world and explore. Our first adventure is probably going to take place on Kabal for a bit, so that gives you an opportunity to show off Garrett's knowledge of his homeworld. Definitely read what I posted in the OP on Kabal. I also will lean on your Xenology, and probably just let many of your local knowledge checks be auto-successes. I wonder, though, what areas of the planet Garrett might not yet have explored?11. Lastly, Group Resource. Sounds like you all are debating between a YT-1300 Light Freighter and a Firespray System Patrol Craft? We need to figure out which PC begins with the starship. My hunch is that if Garrett had access to a starship he'd be trying to get offworld OR selling it to pay for his mother's medication. So...I'm thinking we have 3 options:<ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Kospirian begins flying the starship.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">The ship is Garrett's uncle's, but has been impounded by the Houk Barcad as collateral for Garrett's debt.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">You don't begin with the starship, but over the course of the first adventure your party acquires it.</li> </ul>EDIT: Name for his mother?
